Dr. Allen Dupre, a native of Louisiana, earned his Bachelor Degree in 1980 from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and his Medical Degree from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans in 1984. His internship and residency training occurred at the University of Mississippi, School of Medicine which he completed in 1992. Dr. Dupre joined Dr. Greg Waller in 1992 to form OBGYN Associates of Montgomery.
Dr. Dupre is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Locally, Dr. Dupre has served on the Board of Directors of the Gift of Life Foundation since 1996 and has served Chairman in the past. At Baptist Medical Center East, he has served as Chairman of the OBGYN Department and Chief of Staff. He has also served for many years as a Member of the Advisory Board for the hospital.
Dr. Dupre provides care for women in need of advanced laparoscopy, pelvic floor reconstruction and incontinence surgery. He welcomes the challenge of caring for women with reproductive difficulties. He also enjoys a large obstetrical practice including low and high risk patients.
Dr. Dupre and his wife, Debbie, are blessed with four children. Outside of his professional interests, he enjoys college football, traveling, and gardening.
