Dr. William Thomas is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist. He has provided care for patients at OB/GYN Associates for over seven years. Prior to coming to OB/GYN Associates, he had his own private practice in Pennsylvania and more recently, in Greenville, Alabama. Prior to his OB/GYN career, he was a successful dentist, graduating from the University of Alabama.
Dr. Thomas received his medical degree from the University of South Alabama. He completed his OB/GYN residency at the University of Rochester, in Rochester, New York and was affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh prior to returning to his home state of Alabama.
Dr. Thomas enjoys sports and regularly bicycles and jogs, being extremely health conscience. He enjoys amateur automobile racing and successfully drives his own race cars in Sports Car Club of America events all over the country. He is an active member in local bicycle and automobile clubs.
