Certified nurse-midwives (CNMs)
are registered nurses
who have undergone additional intensive training and testing to become certified
by the American College of Nurse Midwives. CNMs are skilled in both nursing
and midwifery and can practice anywhere in the U.S.
The midwives at OB-GYN
Associates are motivated in providing the best available
care for women and their unborn babies in high risk and average
risk situations.
After graduating from Troy State University,

approximately 3,000 babies and has been a member of the American
College of Nurse-Midwives since 1987.
"I love obstetrics. I've had six babies myself
and loved pregnancy and the birthing experience. Next best is helping
someone else."
